Duddon Canoe Club - Whitewater Paddling

Introducing a paddler of any age to whitewater is done gradually by qualified DCC coaches and helpers. Time is spent on the river bank assessing the river before venturing out on to it. This is done for all grades of water and is just as important.
As paddlers gain more experience and build on their skills then the coaches will venture out onto the surrounding rivers and whitewater.
Eventually this leads to paddling on grade 3+ water as some of DCC's qualified coaches and
club members have gained these skills and experience ready to pass on.

If you're interested please get in touch and come along. Members find out about such trips through club e-mails.

Recent trips include the River Lune, River Kent and River Crake
