Touring is when you aim to travel a distance in relative comfort for a few hours or days. You may be in a canoe, sea kayak or touring or fast touring boat, you will want to avoid short river boats.

Club paddle days out are often a tour around a local lake but for the more adventurous, and more experienced, it may be a local sea trip or a multi day trip on a river / canal / or sea.
These slides show a selection of, mainly canoe tours, club members have been on over the last few years.
Most were open to all suitably qualified members, for others a group of members just get together and organise a trip.
You can always ask for advice from experienced club members and get in a bit of extra training if you are not quite up to the trip of a lifetime.
