                                                              Stand up paddleboarding.

We currently have a fleet of six Stand up Paddleboard's (SUP) , 2 Jobe, and 4 McConks and in April this year we acquired an 8 person stand up board aswell.

Recently we sent 6 of our coaches on a British Canoeing SUP Course, gaining knowledge and experience on paddling the boards in the correct manner, and improving their coaching methods. Once we have expanded our fleet we intend to hold coached sessions on the boards.

Stand up paddle boarding may sound difficult, however, after a few sessions on the board, it quickly becomes easier. All the skills can be learnt kneeling down so there is no pressure to stand up straight away.

It may seem completely different to kayaking or canoeing, however, many of the strokes are very similar, so previous paddling experience can help but is not necessary.
