After attending training sessions in all types of paddle craft every Wednesday this year since the easing of lockdown, developing skills at pool sessions, taking First aid and Foundation Safety and Rescue courses and completing online learning DCC now have 3 She Paddle Champions fully qualified as paddlesport instructors. Their final assessment was held at YMCA Lakeside on 17th and 18th of July which they all passed with flying colours under the guidance of assessor Fiona.
Well done to the 3 of them and thanks to all at DDC who have helped guide them on their way. We look forward to their help with club sessions and their further skill development.
The courses and assessment requirements cost about £400 for each new instructor.
