All who helped out today resisted the urge to get out the kayaks and go for a paddle on a perfectly calm dock. Instead everyone knuckled down and got on with cleaning, washing, sorting out, fixing things aswell as picking up rubbish and plastic along the shore line. Scott says that if everyone picked up three pieces of plastic and recycled it then it would make a great difference to the environment. As you can see alot of waste was collected and then later recycled on several trips to the tip by Carol which saw her load up her car with rubbish and so nobody missed out she invited several members to go with her on a DCC adventure to the local dump. This ultimately lead to the grand finale, as not wanting to miss a day out we formed a convoy behind Carol for one final trip to the recycling centre. Well done to all who worked so hard today and Carol for organising the Grand Tour.
